It has been quite a productive weekend thus far. Jordan’s furniture miraculously came in on Tuesday, so we (me, Greg, and Paul) went to pick them up on Saturday. It all looks really nice, and didn’t require as much assembly as originally anticipated. We really only had to assemble the crib. It was pretty fun, and nice that we finally have places to put Jordan’s things. So the furniture assembly was followed by loads of laundry to get all of Jordan’s sheets and clothes washed. Now his room actually looks like a nursery. We’ll put up pics later.
We also went to Babies ‘R Us yesterday to pick up a crib mattress, and ended up buying a bunch of clothes also (it was Tax Free Weekend). Oh yah, that and diapers. We now have a box of 1′s and a box of 2′s (and got a $5 gift card for buying 2 boxes). I’m sure we’ll need more…there’s another sale in a couple of weeks to get a $10 gift card with purchase of 2 boxes of diapers. So we’ll go get more then.
Today we’ll go back to visit Costco to see what we could buy for next weekend. A ton of people are coming into town for Jordan’s baby shower…so we need to go get a bunch of food. It’ll be a crazy weekend for sure, but it’ll be a blast. We’re just glad that Jordan’s room is finally taken care of. Now we feel a whole lot better about his upcoming arrival.
