Easter

Sunday, April 12th, 2009

For Easter, Jordan’s Grampa Stange came up to visit from San Antonio. On Friday, I went and picked him up from the airport, and then we both went to pick up Jordan from school. When we got home, we were watching the Masters on TV. Jordan and Grampa were watching together.

He was also showing off some of his ExerSaucer skills to Grampa:

For some reason, Jordan really wanted to give me a hug on Friday night.

He had a blast hanging with Grampa.

On Saturday, we all went to my parents’ house to work on their yard. Here’s Jordan consoling Lana:

My Dad finally managed to get him to take a nap (something that neither of us could do at home).

Here’s a priceless picture with all his grandparents:

Cousins and Food!

Wednesday, April 1st, 2009

Let me see about posting the events in order this time. :o)

On March 27th, we went over to Greg’s cousin’s (Kit’s) house to visit with his family and watch the NCAA tournament. Jordan did very well. He played with his 2nd cousins’ toys and then fell asleep on Greg. Ha ha.

Jordan’s sitting up really well now by himself. It makes it a little easier on us ‘cuz we can put him down to play for awhile. He’s pretty happy about his newly found ability.

At his 6-month check-up, his doctor said that he’s now free to have whatever food he wants. So after church on March 29th, we went out to lunch with my parents at J.S. Chen’s to have dim sum. We got him some congee (porridge), and he just LOVED it. My parents had a blast feeding him too. I don’t think they got to eat very much though. Ha ha.

My sister, Matt, and Lana came by for a little bit at J.S. Chen’s also. Jordan really wanted to say hi to Lana.

And my Dad was Super Grandpa…holding both grandkids at once.

We also introduced Jordan to meals in jars. This is when he was having some chicken noodle dinner. He made some nice art on his face. I think he liked the food.
